1. What ScribeNoter Is

ScribeNoter is a music transcription tool that lets you upload audio files or record via microphone, view notation, transpose to different keys, and export PDF sheet music. AI-powered transcription is currently in development.

2. Your Music, Your Rights

You retain full ownership of all audio files you upload and all transcriptions generated from them. ScribeNoter claims no ownership of your music or content. We do not license, sell, or distribute your files to any third party.

By uploading, you confirm you have the right to share the audio file with our service (i.e., you own it or have permission to process it).

3. How We Handle Your Files

• Uploaded files are stored temporarily for processing and transcription
• Files are associated with your session and are not accessible to other users
• We do not use your files to train AI models or share them externally
• You can delete your transcriptions at any time

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ScribeNoter to:

• Upload audio you don't have rights to process
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or access other users' data
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable law
• Automate bulk uploads in a way that degrades service for other users

5. Service Availability

ScribeNoter is provided as-is. We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. The AI transcription feature is in active development and may not always produce accurate results.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScribeNoter and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We'll note the "last updated" date at the top when we do.
